FAQ on storage for a study at home in Florence
I live in an apartment furnished by the landlord: can I put their furniture into storage?
First ask the landlord for consent, because the furniture is theirs. If they agree, we collect it and bring it back where and when you want, even at the end of the lease.
I work from home only some days: is storage worth it?
It depends on how much space the desk needs. The calculator gives the size: if a few pieces are enough, a small size may do, and the rate starts at 1 m².
Can I store work files or theses?
Yes: document archives are allowed, as long as each box stays under 20 kg. Original personal documents, such as a passport or degree certificates, stay with you.
I live in Fiesole, on the hill: do you collect there?
Yes, Fiesole is in the province of Florence: we collect there as in the city. In the notes write the street and how to get there, and tell us beforehand about a slope or a narrow road.

Yes, to your home or another address in the service area. Ask for it from your account or in writing; if you want only part back, tell us what and the rest stays in storage.

Service and local details
Where do you set up a study in a Florentine home?
In the room that is now a storeroom, or in a corner freed from the rest. The furniture filling it goes out and the window, the socket and the door stay. We collect in Florence and the province and bring it back when the study isn't needed any more, or when you move.
The apartment is rented, and the furniture is the landlord's
Before taking anything out you need their consent. With their yes, storage keeps the pieces you don't use out of the house and brings them back where you tell us, even at the end of the lease.
The Oltrarno one-bedroom has no spare room
Here the study is a corner of the living area. It needs floor space: the big bed gives way to a smaller one, and the other waits with us.
Two days in the office, three at home
Hybrid work shifts with the schedule. Storage by the month follows: if the calendar changes, so does what you keep out.
Theses, articles and files that don't fit in the living room
Researchers, PhD students and medical residents pile up paper. Files and work archives can be stored; original personal documents can't.
From storeroom to study, step by step
1. Measure the room, then the space
With the calculator you estimate how many square meters to free. You read rate and pickup in the quote before paying.
2. We collect, even from the fourth floor
Do you live in a building with no elevator? The floor goes in the quote, and the loading estimate comes from that. A built-in bookcase that must come apart is added to the quote, to be requested with the pickup.
3. It stays in a dry warehouse
A dry, closed warehouse, with supervised entrances and an alarm. The rate is charged every month until you ask for redelivery.
4. Back in the office? We bring it all back
If the study ends or you move, you ask for redelivery in writing: you choose the address, in the province of Florence, and give us 48 hours' notice.

A desk on the dining table has just one advantage: lunch is already laid. Otherwise, a room is better.
How much does it cost to clear the room for the study?
The rate is the price of the space your furniture takes up, taken from the Florence price list; the smallest size is 1 m². You pay the pickup at the start, and only once. Redelivery is settled when you ask for it. A longer commitment touches only the pickup: the rate stays as it is.
