Terms of Use

Smoves ("the Service") provides a pickup, storage and delivery service for boxes and personal items in the Milan area. The Service is accessible via smoves.it upon purchasing a booking. Smoves is currently in beta. Some features may be subject to changes.

By using the Service, you fully accept these Terms of Use. If you do not accept these terms, you must stop using the Service immediately. Smoves reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via the website and take effect from the date of publication.

To use the Service you must create an account providing truthful and up-to-date information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activities carried out through your account. Smoves reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms.

The Service is activated upon online payment of the booking. Prices are shown at the time of booking and include pickup, storage and delivery costs. Payment is made by credit/debit card or Apple Pay. A confirmation email is sent upon completion of payment.

Once payment is completed, the booking cannot be cancelled independently. For special needs or exceptional circumstances, you can contact support at info@smoves.it: each case will be assessed individually. Please refer to the Refund Policy for details.

Smoves accepts boxes containing household items, clothes, books, sports equipment and common personal belongings. Not accepted: food, liquids, flammable or hazardous materials, high-value items (jewellery, artwork, cash), drugs or any illegal material. Submitting such items results in immediate termination of the contract and may lead to legal liability.

Smoves takes reasonable measures to safeguard items in its care. In case of documented damage or loss attributable to Smoves' negligence, compensation is limited to the declared value of the item at the time of booking, up to a maximum of €100 per box unless otherwise agreed in writing. Smoves is not liable for: damage caused by inadequate packaging, undeclared items, force majeure events.

All content on smoves.it (logo, text, images, software) is the exclusive property of Smoves or its respective owners. Reproduction, distribution or commercial use without written authorisation is prohibited.

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute arising from the use of the Service, the competent court is Milan, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law.
