Yes. Sesto Fiorentino is in the province of Florence, like Calenzano: we collect from homes and residences around the via Bernardini campus, and the redelivery can go there or to any other town in the province.
Yes. Bikes, small furniture, lamps and boxes share the same space, and you pay for the square meters they take up. The space calculator in the quote helps you see whether the smallest size is enough or you need the next one.
Within the province of Florence it's a regular redelivery, booked from your account. For another city or abroad it's a shipment: ask us in writing and we send you a quote before anything leaves.
You pay a monthly rate for the square meters you take up — the scale starts at 1 m² and the rate is fixed per size — plus a one-off pickup and transport charge at the start. Redelivery is booked when you need it and paid for then. The online quote shows you the rate and the pickup before you confirm.
For high-season pickup (June-July), at least 2-3 weeks ahead. For the rest of the year, 3-5 days is enough. A booked pickup isn't cancelled, but the date can be moved: the first move carries no penalty, with at least 48 hours' notice, and if the new day costs more you only pay the difference.
One size per square meter, from 1 to 30 m²: pick the closest to what you need, the quote gives you the exact monthly rate.

Smoves collects boxes, bikes and small furniture from your room anywhere in the province of Florence and keeps them in the warehouse month by month. You pay a rate for the square meters you take up, plus a one-off pickup. Once you have your new place you book the redelivery, even if you've switched campus in the meantime.
The University of Florence has no single campus. Economics, Law and Political Science are in Novoli; the sciences at the Sesto Fiorentino campus; Human Health Sciences and Engineering on viale Morgagni, a short walk from Careggi hospital; Psychology, Architecture and the humanities at several sites in the historic center; design in Calenzano.
Moving from a bachelor's to a master's, or from one school to another, can mean looking for a room on the other side of the province. And leases almost never line up: the old one ends in late July, the new one starts in October, and in between there's a summer with all your stuff and nowhere to put it. Unless you can talk your parents into keeping twelve boxes in the hallway until fall.

If the new room isn't free yet, storage simply carries on month by month, with nothing to renew.
Yes. The via Capponi and via Laura sites are in the historic center, and plenty of student rooms are on the same streets, with narrow doorways and steep stairs. Put the exact street and floor in the quote notes: we sort out access and loading before we fix the date, rather than finding out at the front door.
