How much fits in one square meter?
A student room usually needs little. 1 m² holds about fifteen boxes or suitcases; 2 m² hold about thirty boxes, or the bike and a few small pieces of furniture; 3 m² take the mattress, the bike and about twenty boxes in all. The space calculator in the quote helps you pick the size before paying.
Is there a student discount?
No, the rates are the same for everyone. You pay only for the floor area you use, month by month, with no minimum term: for anyone storing things just for the summer, that's already the cheapest way.
Do you also go to Sesto Fiorentino and Calenzano?
Yes, we work across the whole province of Florence, so near the Sesto science campus and the Calenzano design campus too.
On which days can you collect?
We're not in Florence every day. The quote's calendar shows only the free dates and time slots: it's worth booking a little ahead, because at the end of July many people leave their rooms in the same week.

From your room to storage: how we collect in Florence
A university spread across the whole city
The University of Florence is spread across the city: social sciences in Novoli, the sciences at the Sesto Fiorentino campus, medicine and engineering on viale Morgagni near Careggi and on via di Santa Marta, the humanities in the center between piazza Brunelleschi and via Capponi, design in Calenzano. Whoever changes faculty, year or roommates often changes district too, and between one lease and the next your things have nowhere to go. Storage fills that gap.

The fourth-floor room with no elevator
Many student apartments are in the old buildings of the center and San Jacopino, with long, narrow stairs. Give your floor when you book: the time to carry the boxes down is already in the price.
A room in the center, inside the ZTL
The piazza Brunelleschi and via Capponi sites sit right in the limited traffic zone, as do many rooms nearby. Put your street in the notes: we tell you how we'll organize the pickup before setting the day.
The landlord wants the keys by the end of the month
Book the pickup before you hand back the keys. If you can't be there on the day, a roommate or a friend you've delegated can let us in.
Novoli and Sesto, buildings with courtyards
Around the Novoli campus and toward Sesto Fiorentino the blocks are newer, often with a courtyard or garage: the van gets closer and loading is quicker.
When students in Florence need storage
End of the year in Novoli, September exams from home
You've finished the July exams and are going home for the summer, but you lose the room. Books, lamps and the drying rack stay with us until September, and go straight to the new room.
An Erasmus semester away from Florence
You're leaving for six months and don't want to pay rent on an empty room. Your things wait in storage, and when you're back we bring them to your new place, in Florence or its province.
Graduation, and a first job in another city
After your thesis you leave Florence, but the new job starts in a few weeks. Your things wait with us, and once you have the new address we ship them on a quote, in Italy or abroad.
