Can I extend the storage if the new home isn't ready?
Yes. The rate is paid month by month, and there is no minimum term: you carry on until the home is free, then ask for redelivery.
Do you redeliver to an address different from the pickup?
Yes, to the one you give us, in the city or in a town of the province. If your move takes you outside the province, belongings are shipped on a quote.
Can you also organize the move from one home to another?
Yes, within the province of Florence: we take care of it, with our own crew, and the quote is free. Tell us the floor, the stairs and whether either home is in the ZTL.
Have you already handled a move in Florence?
Yes. A customer abroad wrote to us: his son had to leave the Florence home for the summer, on a date that couldn't move. We organized it, and the founder was there in person.

Do I have to be there for the pickup?
You, or whoever you've asked, like a relative or the landlord. They open the door and point out which furniture is leaving.
What can't I leave in storage?
No cash or valuables, original documents, food and liquids, fine art, damaged batteries or hazardous materials. If unsure, message us before the pickup.

Service and local details
When do you need storage in the middle of a move?
When the two homes don't meet: the old one has to be handed back on a date, the new one frees up later, and in between there are weeks when the furniture has no room. We collect it at your door, keep it for that stretch and bring it wherever you say as soon as you can receive it.
The old lease ends before the new one starts
The keys go back to the landlord, the new ones arrive later. In the meantime the furniture sits with us, not at a friend's place.
The new home still has workmen in it
Painting, floors or wiring to redo in an old building: bringing the furniture in now would mean coating it in dust. It comes back once the work is finished.
A move in two stages
A temporary apartment, or the family home in the province, has no room for everything. What isn't needed right away stays in safekeeping until the final place is ready.
The new home is smaller
From a house in Bagno a Ripoli to a one-bed apartment in the center, some furniture won't fit. You leave it with us while you decide whether to keep it.
How does storage during a move work?
You book online the square meters your furniture takes up and the day it's collected from the old home; you can only pick among the days on which we are in Florence, and the one you pick is already confirmed. Then you note the floor and stairs, so we plan the loading first. For redelivery you set the day and the address.
1. You book and describe the home
Square meters, date and notes: the floor, the width of the stairs, the elevator, the ZTL. The quote shows rate and pickup before you pay.
2. We load the furniture
If a piece won't go through the door we dismantle it, on a free quote requested with the pickup. At loading there is the customer, or whoever they've delegated.
3. We keep it between the two homes
It stays indoors, in a dry, access-controlled warehouse, for as long as needed.
4. We take it to the new home
When it's ready, you book the redelivery with at least 48 hours' notice: in Florence or a town of the province, even at an address different from the pickup.

In the historic center the ZTL matters: sectors A, B and O run from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and until 4 p.m. on Saturday, with camera gates. Write your street in the notes, and we tell you how the loading will be organized.
What does storage during a move in Florence cost?
The Florence price list applies: a monthly rate for the floor area occupied, with no minimum term, and the pickup paid once at the start. If you commit to more months the discount falls on the pickup, not the rate. You pay for the redelivery to the new home when you book it. Dismantling and the move itself are on a free quote: you know the figure before you decide.
