For a student room two or three square meters are usually enough: the bike, which does not fit in 1 m², and the boxes. The quote's calculator helps you choose.
Can I book from abroad?
Yes, booking is online. Enter the postal code of your Florence place and say who will open the door on pickup day.
Is there an Erasmus rate?
No, the rates are the same for everyone. You pay for the space you occupy, month by month, and the quote shows every item before you pay.

Service and local details

From your room to storage, before you leave
A suitcase at the airline limit is not a home
Erasmus in Florence goes two ways. Whoever studies here and leaves for six or twelve months doesn't want to pay for an empty room to the last day, but has nowhere to put the bike, the books and the household things. Whoever arrives from abroad, with the University of Florence or on a study abroad program run by a foreign university, often has a flight with a baggage limit and a furnished apartment, and at the end of the semester finds they've bought more than they can carry home. In both cases storage takes the weight in between.
Which neighborhoods and postal codes do we cover?
Neighborhoods: Historic center, Santa Croce, San Marco, Statuto, Novoli. Postal codes: 50121, 50122, 50123, 50127, 50129.
Pickup before the airport
If your flight leaves early, book the pickup the day before. Put in the notes the time you have to be out of the room.
A shared apartment in an old building
Many apartments for international students are in historic buildings in the center, with long stairs and no elevator. Give your floor in the quote and we take it into account.
A studio or residence inside the ZTL
Places near the historic-center university sites are often in the ZTL: put your street in the notes and we tell you how we'll manage the stop.
When students on Erasmus in Florence need storage
You leave for six months, the room is freed up
You're from out of town, you have a semester in Lisbon and you give up your Florence room. Bike, books and boxes stay in storage until you're back, then go to the new room.
You arrive on a study abroad program
You've spent a semester in Florence and what you bought doesn't fit in your luggage. You leave it in storage while you decide how to take it home.
A whole year abroad
That's twelve months of rent you don't want to pay for nothing. With storage you pay only for the space your things take, month by month.
