Questions about storage for people leaving Florence for abroad
I bought furniture from an antique dealer in the Oltrarno: do you store it?
A table, a dresser or a period armchair is furniture and we collect it like the rest. An original painting or a high-value collector's item stays out of storage. If you are unsure about a piece, write to us before the pickup.
I live on the top floor with no elevator: does anything change?
The quote changes, not the possibility of collecting. You enter floor and elevator while booking, and the price takes them into account.
I'm going back to my own country: can furniture bought in Florence reach me there?
Yes, in Italy and abroad, on a free quote. The pieces you don't want to ship stay in storage until you decide what to do with them.
I must leave my apartment before the flight: when do I book the pickup?
A few days before handing back the keys, so the landlord finds the apartment empty. A booked pickup cannot be canceled but can be moved, and the first time it costs nothing if you tell us at least 48 hours ahead.

What to do with your furniture when you leave Florence for abroad?
Leave it in storage until you have an address to send it to. You leave before you know what the new home looks like, furnished or empty, large or tight. That way you don't sell in a hurry or ship blind: once the setup is clear, you write to us and we prepare a free quote.
You leave for a PhD or a research contract
Anyone studying or working around Careggi, Novoli and Sesto Fiorentino knows it: a start date abroad is set within weeks. Before leaving, reread the rental contract: the end date and the notice period tell you when the apartment must be empty, and the pickup is set around that date.
You go back to your own country after years in Florence
Florence welcomes many foreign students and workers who stay longer than planned. Whoever goes home has a bed, a bookcase and maybe a piece from an antique dealer: in storage they wait until you have found a place.
The building has no elevator
In the historic center and the Oltrarno, high floors and narrow stairs are the norm. You enter floor and elevator in the quote, and the loading run is planned on that data.

You enter the space, the floor, the elevator and the pickup day. Fee and pickup appear separately before you pay.
2. We collect in Florence or its province
At the pickup there is the person who booked or someone they appointed: a roommate, a relative, a colleague. If your flight leaves earlier, you appoint them in advance.
3. We store while you are away
Your furniture sits in an indoor, dry warehouse with controlled access. The fee is charged every month to the card you saved, from whichever country you are using your phone.
4. We ship or bring it back
Once you have an address, you tell us what you want and you receive a free quote. If you come back, ask for redelivery with 48 hours' notice.

From the second rescheduling of the pickup, or with less than 48 hours' notice, the change is paid.

With more months of commitment the pickup price goes down, while the monthly fee stays the same. Shipping to another country is a separate service, with a free quote: no figure before you have seen it.
