Where do you offer storage for a renovation?
We serve Milan, Florence and their provinces; around Milan we also reach the neighboring Lombard provinces. Pick your city in «Where we do it», further down.
What if the work takes longer than planned?
The furniture stays with us. The rate is monthly with no minimum term, so you carry on until the contractor has finished, then ask for redelivery.
Can I get back just the table while the work goes on?
Yes, even one piece at a time. Write to us which ones, two days ahead: the rest keeps staying with us.
The contractor changes the date: do I have to cancel the pickup?
It isn't canceled, it's moved. The first move carries no penalty if you tell us 48 hours ahead; after that, or with less notice, there is a charge. If the new day costs more, you see the difference before confirming.

Yes: dismantling goes together with the pickup and the estimate is free. Tell us which elements and what access the home has; we reply before fixing the day.

When does it pay to move furniture out during building work?
When the site touches more than one room or runs longer than a few days. Sheeting and tape don't stop the dust of a screed or a demolition, and shifting furniture from room to room slows the crew. With the rooms empty the contractor finishes sooner and your furniture stays intact.
Floors and screeds to redo
A floor is redone with the room clear: the furniture leaves first, and the new parquet isn't laid around the legs of a wardrobe.
A kitchen or bathroom to replace
Wall units, table and chairs leave the home for the time of the fitting, and come back when it's finished.
Plasterboard and plaster dust
Cellophane holds up poorly. A sofa or a wardrobe kept away from the home stays clean, and unscratched by passing workmen.
A site that runs over
Contractors slip, and nobody knows the end date. The rate is monthly: the furniture stays until the home is truly ready.
How is storage organized during a renovation?
Start from the day the work begins and book the pickup a few days earlier. We clear the rooms, keep the furnishings for the whole site and, once the work is closed, bring them back. For the return you write us the date two days ahead, even if the contractor hasn't finished.
1. Work out the space
The calculator estimates the square meters of the furniture that has to leave. If you clear only part of the home, enter it room by room.
2. Fix the pickup before the site
Pick a day a few days ahead of the contractor, so nobody trips over anybody. The calendar shows only free dates.
3. We clear and keep
We load furniture and boxes. The elements to dismantle are named at pickup and the quote is free; then we keep everything safe.
4. It returns once the site is closed
Give us the end-of-work date and we bring everything back, or one room at a time: what you don't ask for stays with us.
What do you put into storage before a building site?
The furnishings of every room the work involves, plus boxes with what sits on shelves and in cabinets. Paints, solvents, cash, original papers, liquids and the other items banned by the Terms don't go in.

Before, during and after the work
A renovation has three stages, and each one has something to do with your storage. That way the pickup and return dates don't collide with the contractor's.

A booked pickup can't be canceled: it can be moved. From the second reschedule, or with less than 48 hours' notice, moving it carries a charge.
What does storage during a renovation cost?
The price depends on the city. The mechanism stays the same: each month you pay for the space taken, the pickup once at the outset, the redelivery separately when you ask for it. Since a site can run longer than planned, it helps to know the rate has no minimum term. The Milan and Florence price lists are on their own pages.
