Patio furniture storage FAQ
When is the right time to have terrace furniture collected?
When you stop using it, usually between late September and October, before the first heavy rain. You pick the date and we collect at your door; in spring you book the redelivery.
Can a big table be taken apart for the pickup?
Bulky items we collect as they are. If you want our operator to take it apart, disassembly is a paid service on a quote, and it's only done together with a pickup.
Can I store a gas barbecue?
The barbecue yes, if it's clean and cold. The cylinder no: gas counts as a hazardous material that doesn't go into the warehouse. Keep it with you.
Can I get just the cushions back in March and leave the rest?
Yes. A partial redelivery has no button: write to us what you want back, with at least 48 hours' notice, and the rest stays in the warehouse under the same contract.

Service and local details
Where do you keep terrace furniture in winter?
Indoors and dry, not out on the balcony. Rain, frost and damp ruin wood, fabric and cushions in a single season, and a Milan cellar rarely has room for an eight-seater table. We collect at the end of summer, keep everything all winter and bring it back when the terrace is needed again.
A table and chairs that won't fit in the cellar
The wooden six-seater is lovely in August. In November it's four legs and a two-metre top to deal with.
Cushions and fabrics you can't leave in the frost
A cushion left out all winter turns into a sponge. Indoors, it stays what you bought.
Parasols, sun loungers and swing seats
Used May to September, in the way all year. For the winter, we sort them out.
A terrace you're redoing, or using differently
If the flooring is being redone or the terrace changes use, the furniture can wait elsewhere until you need it again.
How it works, from late summer to spring
1. Empty, clean and dry
Cushions dry, tables and chairs clean, plants and soil out of the pots: nothing dirty or wet goes into the warehouse.
2. You book the pickup
Choose the space and the date. The quote shows the rate and the pickup before you pay.
3. We come to collect
Tables, chairs and parasols we collect as they are, dismantled or still assembled. Cushions go in boxes.
4. In spring you take them back to the terrace
You book the redelivery from your account, on the day you choose, with at least 48 hours' notice.
What you can store
Allowed
Tables and chairs
Wood, metal, rattan, plastic: even the long eight-seater, which we collect as it is, no box needed.
Parasols, sun loungers and swing seats
With bases and slats, thoroughly dry. A parasol closed and tied up takes less room.
Cushions, covers and bean bags
In a box, dry: 20 kg maximum per box, because one person lifts it.
Barbecues and yard tools
The barbecue clean and cold, without the gas cylinder or charcoal. Tools clean and free of soil.
Not allowed
You can't store plants and soil, gas cylinders, charcoal and firelighters (flammable materials), food and liquids, or anything dirty or wet. Unsure about an item? Message us before pickup.
What goes into storage and what stays on the terrace
A terrace holds all sorts: furniture, fabrics, the barbecue and that pot with a plant still alive. Here's what goes into the warehouse and what doesn't, row by row.
| On the terrace you have | Does it go into storage? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Tables, chairs, benches | Yes | We collect them as they are, even big ones |
| Parasols, sun loungers, swing seats | Yes | Dry and clean, with their bases |
| Cushions and covers | Yes | Dry, in a box of 20 kg at most |
| Barbecue, clean and cold | Yes | Without cylinder or charcoal: those stay with you |
| Gas cylinders, charcoal, firelighters | No | Hazardous materials: they don't go into the warehouse |
| Plants, pots with soil | No | Plants are excluded, and soil counts as dirt |

How much does it cost to store terrace furniture over winter?
The rate is monthly and fixed, according to the space your tables, chairs and cushions take up: it starts at 1 m². The pickup is paid once at the start, redelivery when you book it. The discount for more months applies to the pickup, not the rate. The quote shows the rate and the pickup before you book.
