FAQ on storage for making space at home
Do you do clearances or disposal?
No. We collect, store and redeliver: we don't empty cellars and we don't take anything to the tip. Whatever you want to throw out you dispose of yourself, before the pickup or after the redelivery.
How do I know how much space I need?
With the space calculator, which already includes a margin for stacking. When your things reach the warehouse we measure the space they actually take up: the rate adjusts to the real size and we write to you within two working days, with photos.
After a few months I don't miss anything: what do I do?
It's your call. You can request redelivery of everything, with 48 hours' notice, and decide at home what to keep and what to dispose of, or carry on month by month.
Can I get just some things back?
Yes, partial redelivery exists: it isn't a button in your account, you ask for it by writing to us with at least 48 hours' notice. We bring back what you name and the rest stays in storage.

Do I need to pack everything before pickup?
Bulky items are collected as they are, no box needed. For smaller items you'll need boxes: you source them yourself, or we do the packing for you and you pay for the time.

Service and local details
When do you need storage to make space at home?
When the home is full and you can't decide what to throw out. Storage moves out what you use once a year or aren't sure you want back, and gives you time to choose calmly. We don't do clearances or disposal: whatever you entrust to us, you find again as it was.
Christmas takes up three boxes
Decorations, a camping tent, empty suitcases: things you use once a year that fill the wardrobe the rest of the time.
Furniture you don't use but won't sell
Grandma's armchair, the table you'll "maybe use one day". Out of the house they no longer weigh on the room, and the decision isn't urgent any more.
You want to decide without rushing
Throwing out is final, storage isn't: set aside for a few months and see whether you miss anything.

How it works
1. You sort halfway
You don't have to decide about everything: set aside what you don't use and pack it. Bulky items we collect as they are. You book space and date online, and the quote shows the rate and the pickup before you pay.
2. We collect at your door
We come to your place in Milan to load furniture and boxes.
3. We keep it, month by month
Indoors, in a dry, access-controlled facility, until you've decided.
4. You take home only what you want back
Request redelivery, even of just part: the rest stays under the same contract. Whatever you want to throw out you dispose of yourself, we don't do clearances or disposal.

If unplugged, emptied and clean; battery devices if in good condition and switched off.
Not allowed
You can't store money and valuables, original documents, food and liquids, hazardous materials, or anything dirty or wet. Broken things to throw out included: storage keeps, it doesn't dispose.
What goes into storage and what is for the trash
Before booking you need just one question: do I want it back? If yes or maybe, it goes with us. If no, it's for disposal, and that's up to you. Below, where each thing goes.

How much does making space with storage cost?
You pay a fixed monthly rate based on the square meters you take up, plus a one-off pickup charge at the start. Redelivery is paid when you book it. If you commit to more months, the discount applies to the pickup, not the rate. The quote shows the rate and the pickup before you book.
