In the warehouse, instead of hauling them home in July and back in September. We collect in Città Studi, Lambrate, Bovisa or Dergano and redeliver to the address you give us on your return, even if it's not the one you left from. Storage runs month by month: two months means two monthly rates.
Yes. Put the residence name, floor and room in the form: so whoever comes to collect knows where to go and the doorman knows who to expect.
Bulky items need no box at all: we collect them as they are. If the piece is fragile, flag it in the form before the pickup so we turn up with the right materials to protect it.
You pay a monthly rate for the square meters you take up — the scale starts at 1 m² and the rate is fixed per size — plus a one-off pickup and transport charge at the start. Redelivery is booked when you need it and paid for then. The online quote shows you the rate and the pickup before you confirm.
For high-season pickup (June-July), at least 2-3 weeks ahead. For the rest of the year, 3-5 days is enough. A booked pickup isn't cancelled, but the date can be moved: the first move carries no penalty, with at least 48 hours' notice, and if the new day costs more you only pay the difference.

Smoves collects your boxes at your door around Polimi — Città Studi, Lambrate, Bovisa, Dergano — and keeps them for the months you need. You pay a monthly rate for the square meters you take up, plus a one-off pickup. Books, notes and electronics too, if in good condition: the rule is right below.
Politecnico has two campuses in two different quadrants of Milan — Città Studi to the east, Bovisa to the north — and for anyone clearing a room they are not the same thing. Leonardo sits in Città Studi, where people live in 1930s walk-ups with narrow stairs and lifts that at best hold one person and one box. Bovisa and Dergano are wider: you pull up outside, load, and go.
That changes how long the job takes at your place. The pickup price covers loading at street level; extra time for stairs is charged on the actual time, at an hourly rate. If you're on the fourth floor with no elevator, write it in the form: you see the estimate of that time before you book.

Many buildings have narrow flights and small elevators. Give your floor and elevator in the form: time on the stairs is charged on the actual time, and you see the estimate before you book.

Yes: laptops, tablets, smartphones, wireless earbuds, power banks, drones and cameras can be stored if in good condition — battery intact, not swollen or damaged — switched off and unplugged from the charger. A damaged or tampered battery stays out, device included. Books, notes, models, drawing tools and study material are all accepted, well packed.
Yes. Storage runs month by month with no maximum length: you extend it as long as you need, with no new contract. When you're back you book the redelivery from your account and choose the day. If your address changed in the meantime, you update it before redelivery.
