Crossing the Area C gate, when it's needed, is a cost of ours and never appears on your quote. The pickup is booked at your home address on an agreed time slot, so the vehicle only stops long enough to load.
Yes. In the form, write which of the two colleges, Augustinianum or Ludovicianum, and your room number; in the notes, if the college has a reception, its opening hours too.
Yes: a flatmate, a friend or the building's doorman can let us in, if they know about the booking and recognize your boxes. If the exam is in the morning, book the pickup for the afternoon: you choose the time slot.
Into storage. We collect them before you leave and bring them back when you return, even to a different address from the one you left. If in September you only need the books for the exam, you can have just those brought back and leave the rest in the warehouse: a partial redelivery is requested by writing to us, with 48 hours' notice.
Less than you'd hope: the limit is 20 kg per box, because one person lifts it, and an annotated code gets there fast. Use the small 40 × 30 × 30 cm boxes for books, and keep the large ones for clothes and blankets.
You pay a monthly rate for the square meters you take up — the scale starts at 1 m² and the rate is fixed per size — plus a one-off pickup and transport charge at the start. Redelivery is booked when you need it and paid for then. The online quote shows you the rate and the pickup before you confirm.
For high-season pickup (June-July), at least 2-3 weeks ahead. For the rest of the year, 3-5 days is enough. A booked pickup isn't cancelled, but the date can be moved: the first move carries no penalty, with at least 48 hours' notice, and if the new day costs more you only pay the difference.

Sant'Ambrogio is inside the Bastioni ring, so inside Area C, and Largo Gemelli in front of the university is a pedestrian area. A van can't stop there, so the pickup happens at your home address, on an agreed time slot.
If you live between Sant'Ambrogio, Cadorna and De Amicis, what slows a pickup down is usually the entrance and the stairs. Say which floor you're on, and whether there's an elevator, when you book: time on the stairs is charged on the actual time, and you see the estimate before you confirm.
We collect from the university residences (Augustinianum, Ludovicianum) and from private apartments in Sant'Ambrogio, Sempione, Cadorna and CityLife. If your front door is on a restricted-traffic street, write to us before booking. Who answers is in about us.
The university sits between the Basilica of Sant'Ambrogio and the metro stop of the same name, and you walk in through Bramante's cloisters. The Necchi Campus, on Via Necchi, is a few steps away. For the pickup, though, the site doesn't matter: what matters is your own front door, whether it's on Corso Magenta, on Via San Vittore or on the other side of the city.

Between De Amicis and Sant'Ambrogio there's often no elevator. Write the floor in the form: time on the stairs is charged on the actual time, and you see the estimate before you book.
Before a pickup from the Augustinianum or the Ludovicianum, ask the college at what time loading at the entrance is possible: each place has its own habits, and it pays to know them first.
The second site is a few steps from Largo Gemelli, also inside Area C. The pickup doesn't go through the faculty, though: it happens at your home.
The Sant'Ambrogio stop is right in front of the entrance. The van has no stop of its own: it pulls up where stopping to load is allowed, as close as possible to your door.
No. Entering Area C, when it's needed, is on us and never appears on your quote: the price is worked out on the square meters you take up and on the pickup address, with no city-center surcharge.
Yes. Storage starts at one month and carries on as long as you need. A minimum commitment only exists if you take the duration discount. For a semester abroad you just book the pickup before you leave and the redelivery on your return, choosing the day from your account.
Yes. The van goes to Brescia, Piacenza and Cremona, so there it's an ordinary redelivery to your new address. If your site is further away, your things arrive as a shipment, on a quote, which you ask us for in writing. In the meantime they stay in storage, month by month.
It depends on the courtyard, and loading usually happens from the street, in front of the door or at the nearest point where stopping is allowed. Write in the notes if there's a second courtyard or a separate staircase between the door and your apartment: that stretch is what weighs on the time, and so on the estimate you see before booking.
