At the end of the academic year you have two options: take everything home with you (train, car, transport costs, your parents' house invaded by boxes), or leave everything in your Milan apartment — but then you keep paying rent for boxes instead of for living.

When can I book summer storage?

The best time to book is between April and early June. Pickup slots fill quickly in the second half of June and early July. The earlier you book, the more you can choose the date you want.

When does the pickup happen?

Between early June and late July, based on your needs and our calendar availability. You choose the date in the form among the available ones: they are always guaranteed and the booking is confirmed automatically once you pay.

When does delivery happen?

Typically between late August and late September. You choose the date in the booking form; you can then postpone it from your account up to 7 days before.

How much does summer storage cost?

The price depends on the number of boxes and the duration. For summer bookings with pickup and delivery within the seasonal window a flat rate applies, with no monthly cost, pickup and delivery included. Get the exact price in the booking form.

What if I don't return to Milan in September?

We can: 1) deliver your boxes to another address within the municipality of Milan (a friend who receives for you); 2) extend storage for additional months. You decide — just message us in chat. If you have to leave Milan, message us and we'll work out the best solution together.

Can I add boxes during summer?

Yes. If in mid-July you realise you want to store more, just make a quick new booking. We add the boxes to your existing storage.

What CAN'T I leave in summer storage?

Not accepted: battery-powered items or items containing batteries (e.g. smartphones, laptops, tablets, wireless earbuds, power banks, drones, cameras); money and valuables, jewellery, original documents, items worth more than €100, medicines, food and liquids, fragile items, artworks, hazardous or flammable materials, weapons and anything illegal. Mains-powered appliances without a battery are allowed instead (e.g. hair straightener, hair dryer, lamps). If in doubt, message us before pickup.

Is there a maximum deadline for summer storage?

Technically no: you can keep your boxes past September by extending storage from your account. If you have specific needs about the duration, message us in chat and we'll find a solution.
