Into storage, and books are the case where it pays off most: they take little space and weigh a lot, so the size you need is small. The limit is still 20 kg per box, because a person lifts it, so smaller boxes not filled to the brim work better. The space calculator tells you which size you fall into.
Yes, for the 6, 9 or 12 months it lasts and beyond: storage runs month by month with no maximum length. On your return you book the redelivery from your account and choose the day and the address.
Yes. Only original personal documents and valuables the Terms exclude stay out: for everything else — electronics included, if in good condition — the 20 kg per box limit applies.
You pay a monthly rate for the square meters you take up — the scale starts at 1 m² and the rate is fixed per size — plus a one-off pickup and transport charge at the start. Redelivery is booked when you need it and paid for then. The online quote shows you the rate and the pickup before you confirm.
For high-season pickup (June-July), at least 2-3 weeks ahead. For the rest of the year, 3-5 days is enough. A booked pickup isn't cancelled, but the date can be moved: the first move carries no penalty, with at least 48 hours' notice, and if the new day costs more you only pay the difference.

Smoves collects your boxes at the address where you live in Milan, whichever Statale site you attend. You pay a monthly rate for the square meters you take up, plus a one-off pickup and transport charge. Books are heavy: the limit is 20 kg per box, because one person lifts it.
Statale has sites in different places: Festa del Perdono in the center, Celoria and Mangiagalli in Città Studi, the MIND site in Rho, Veterinary Medicine in Lodi. And its students often live in another area again, chosen on rent.
The pickup is booked on your home address, whether that's in the city, in Rho or in Lodi. The site where you attend lectures doesn't enter the quote: a Veterinary student living in Lodi books just like someone in Città Studi.

The campus you attend doesn't enter the quote and doesn't change the price. Veterinary Medicine is in Lodi: if you live nearby, the van comes to your door.
The historic center has the Area C gates. We pay the entry: there is no city-center surcharge on your quote.
The site is in Rho, just outside the city, and we come there just as we do in Milan.
The limit is 20 kg per box, because a person lifts it. With books you reach that quickly: use smaller boxes and don't fill them to the brim. In the quote you say how much space you need, not how many boxes you have.
You book the pickup at your home address and that's where we come. Festa del Perdono sits inside the Bastioni ring, so inside Area C: we cross the gate when we need to, and the charge never appears anywhere on your quote.
