FAQ on storage and moving abroad
Can I have my furniture shipped once I've settled abroad?
Yes. You tell us what you want and the address, and we give you a free quote for shipping, within Italy or abroad. Whatever you don't ask for stays in storage.
I won't be in Milan on pickup day: what do I do?
At pickup we need you or someone you've delegated. If you leave earlier, delegate a friend or relative and give us their name when you book.
How long can I leave my things in storage?
The rate runs month to month and your things stay with us until you request redelivery. You don't have to decide today how long you'll be away.
How do I pay the rate while I'm abroad?
When you book you save your card, and the rate is charged to it every month with a receipt by email. You pay online, from any country.

Can I get back only some of my things?
Yes, tell us what you want back, with at least 48 hours' notice if it's in Milan, and we arrange it together. If it has to be shipped we quote you. The rest stays in storage, under the same contract.

Service and local details
Why leave your furniture in Milan instead of shipping it at once?
Because in October you often don't know yet where you'll live in March. Shipping a whole apartment to a place you might leave soon is expensive, and selling it to buy it all again later costs more. In storage your furniture waits month to month: you bring it back, ship it or keep it once things are clear.
The lease ends before your flight
The dates are set by the landlord and the airline, who never compare notes. Storage covers the gap in between.
You don't know yet if you're staying
A one-year master's, a probation contract, a «let's see how it goes»: until you know, the furniture neither ships nor gets sold.
You leave with two suitcases, not a sofa
A three-seater won't fit in a suitcase, not even if you stand on it. We handle it, from your front door.

Once you have a place there, tell us what you want and we quote you for shipping, abroad included.
How it works
1. You book online before leaving
Choose how many square meters you need and the pickup day, which can be just a few days before your flight. The quote shows the rate and the pickup before you pay.
2. We collect at your door in Milan
We come and load your furniture. At pickup we need you or someone you delegate: a friend, a relative, your roommate.
3. We keep it until you decide
It stays in an indoor, dry, access-controlled facility. The rate runs month to month and is charged to the card you saved, from any country.
4. We bring it back or ship it
If you return to Milan, we set the redelivery together for the day and address you choose. If you stay away, we ship them by quote.
What you can leave in storage while you're away
Allowed
Furniture
Sofas, beds, wardrobes, tables, bookcases. If it needs taking apart before pickup, we do it together with the pickup, by quote.
Appliances
Washing machine, fridge, oven: unplugged, emptied and clean.
Boxes
Books, clothes, dishes, keepsakes. You supply the boxes, or we do the packing and you pay for the time.
Fragile items and battery devices
Mirrors, lamps, laptops and e-scooters, if well packed or with an intact battery and switched off. Tell us at pickup.
Not allowed
Passport, ID card and any other original document stay with you, along with cash, jewelry and valuables. Also out: food, liquids, medicines, plants, fine art and hazardous materials. If you're unsure about something, message us before pickup.

How much does it cost to keep furniture in Milan while you live abroad?
You pay a fixed monthly rate based on the square meters you take up, plus a one-off pickup charge at the start. You book and pay redelivery when you need it. If you commit to more months, the discount applies to the pickup, not the rate. Shipping to another country is a separate service, by free quote: no figure until you've seen it.
