The answers you need
Do you go up to Galluzzo and beyond the Certosa?
Yes: it's the same district, so the Florence price list applies. The pickup depends on distance and the stretch by hand, and you see it in the quote. If the road is closed or under works, tell us in the notes.
My garage is damp: can what's already in there be saved?
It depends on what it is. Metals and plastics dry and clean up; swollen wood and cardboard need checking first. Photograph what you have and write to us: before loading, we tell you what is worth keeping.
The gate has a code: what do I do?
Put it in the notes of your quote, or have someone reachable by phone at the pickup time. At the pickup it has to be you or someone you have delegated, who knows which things are leaving.
Do you collect from a home in Ponte a Ema?
Yes, it's in the district, like Ricorboli and Bandino. Beyond the city boundary, in the province, the pickup is booked the same way.
More questions
Do I have to take the furniture apart first?
If you'd rather not, disassembly can be added to the pickup: it's a made-to-measure service, with a free quote, to be requested together with the pickup. It isn't included in the fee.

Service and local details

Climbing roads, gravel drives and gates: how we collect in Gavinana
Gavinana and Galluzzo, from the garage to the farmhouse
The south of Florence is the part with the most garages, lemon houses, farmhouse cellars and improvised storerooms. That is exactly why things end up spending their winters there: the old living-room sofa, the crib, grandad's bookcase, all leaning on a wall that sweats in January. The roads also climb, from via Senese to the Chiantigiana, and the van prepares for bends and tight gates. We collect, and your things get some fresh air.
Which neighborhoods and postal codes do we cover?
Neighborhoods: Gavinana, Ricorboli, Bandino, Galluzzo, Sorgane, Ponte a Ema. Postal codes: your street's postal code: the quote works it out from your address.
Via Senese and the Chiantigiana, then the side roads
The two main roads are easy. Trouble starts after: the side roads climbing to the houses are narrow, with no room to turn a vehicle. If you live at the top of one, say so: the loading can be lower down, with the last stretch by hand.
Farmhouses and villas with a gate and a drive
On the hills around Galluzzo you sometimes find a gravel drive a van can enter, though not always turn in. If there is a gate with a code or an intercom, put it in the notes and have someone ready to open.
Garages and lemon houses: January damp
A ground-floor garage or a lemon house is handy and not dry. If your things live there, they are already tired: bring them out with us and let them rest in a warehouse that doesn't know damp.
Sorgane: big blocks, one elevator for everyone
In a big block the elevator serves many families, and its cabin isn't built for a wardrobe. Tell us your floor, the size of the cabin and when it is usually free: we work out the fit with you.
When the garage in Gavinana isn't enough any more
Restoring a farmhouse in Galluzzo
The works last longer than planned, and the furniture can't wait in the garage with the season's damp. With us it stays sheltered until the roof is closed.
Living in Gavinana and working outside Florence
You change office and you change home, but the new one has half the rooms. The furniture that doesn't fit stays in storage, at a cost you know in advance, and not in a half-empty unit to fill.
Leaving an apartment in Sorgane
The family splits and the four-bedroom home becomes a one-bedroom apartment. What no longer fits isn't thrown away: it stays with us, and goes to whoever wants it, at the address you choose.
