The answers you need
Do you also collect in Settignano and on the hills?
Yes, it's in the same district. The fee is the one for all of Florence, while the pickup is priced on your address and on the stretch that remains on foot. You see the total in the quote, before confirming.
Can I store outdoor furniture too?
Yes: chairs, table, parasol, empty pots. Anything wet or muddy has to be dried and cleaned before the pickup, because the warehouse stays pleasant only if damp doesn't come in.
My block's garage has a low entrance: does it matter?
Yes, it's useful to know. Write the clearance in the notes: if the vehicle can't get in, we stop outside and carry the last stretch by hand. The extra time appears in the quote.
Do I have to be at home when you come?
At the pickup it has to be you or someone you have delegated, who knows which things are yours. Someone in the building, a relative or a trusted neighbor will do if you have told them.

Service and local details

Avenues, villini and cellars: how we collect in Campo di Marte
Campo di Marte, from the cellar to the hill
In Campo di Marte space isn't the problem: the years it would take to empty it are. Villini with gardens, mid-century blocks with a cellar and a garage, tree-lined avenues where people park without hurry. Whoever has lived here for twenty years has an attic that remembers the whole family, and sooner or later a child getting married, a house to sell, a relative to look after. We take away what no longer belongs at home but won't be thrown out.
Which neighborhoods and postal codes do we cover?
Neighborhoods: Campo di Marte, Le Cure, Coverciano, Bellariva, Varlungo, Rovezzano, Settignano. Postal codes: your street's postal code: the quote works it out from your address.
Wide avenues, but the cars got there first
Around Campo di Marte the streets are broad and parked solid. We pick the loading point with you: under your door, or in the first side street with a free space if a car has already taken it.
Villini with a gate and gravel
Many houses have a yard between the gate and the door, often gravel with a step in the middle. A sofa is carried by hand or on a hand truck, and that's fine. If the gate is electric, keep the remote handy.
Cellars and garages, right at the back
In post-war blocks the cellar is on the basement level, with a narrow stair and a low corridor. Write down what is in there and whether an elevator reaches it: the pickup is planned on real dimensions.
Settignano, stone walls on both sides
On the hill the streets are narrow, with stone walls at the edges and bends where two vehicles can't pass. Tell us where you want the loading and how much road is left on foot: we settle the detail together.
When Campo di Marte has the space, but it's all taken
Inheriting a villino in Coverciano
Before selling or renting out, the house has to be emptied: family furniture, paintings, good china nobody will use. It stays with us while the family decides what to keep, then goes where you say.
The cellar of a block in Le Cure
Odd chairs, skis, a ping-pong table and the crib from the days of little sleep. It all goes in one trip, and the cellar goes back to being a cellar.
Moving with one date shorter than the other
The old lease ends at month end and the new home is ready in September. In between, your furniture stays with us, not in a brother-in-law's hallway.
