The answers you need
Do you move a single piece of furniture?
Yes: a sofa, a wardrobe, a bed with its base. You can ask for a quote even for one piece.
Can I move from Florence to Prato or Milan?
The move starts and ends in the province of Florence, for example from the city to Scandicci or Campi Bisenzio. For a destination outside the province, like Prato or Milan, write it in the request and we'll tell you whether it can be done.
Do I pack the boxes myself?
Usually yes: you pack, we load. If you'd rather we pack, it's an extra service: you pay for the time, and we estimate it up front.
My room is inside the ZTL: does that change anything?
It just needs saying beforehand. Write the street in the request: cameras check plates at the entrances to the zone, and we plan the loading time accordingly.
More questions
Do you come to Florence on any day?
Not every day: we're in town on certain weekdays only. Tell us the period you need and we'll agree a date among the available ones.
What does the price of a mini move depend on?
On how many pieces there are, the floor, the elevator if any, and how many kilometers separate the two addresses. That's why it's on a free quote, and you read the figure before you confirm.
Service and local details
What fits in
The rented room of someone studying at the University of Florence, a studio apartment, an apartment that only half empties because the rest belonged to the landlord. Or a single piece: the sofa too big for the car, the second-hand wardrobe bought on the other side of town.
Narrow stairs and no elevator
In many buildings of the historic center the staircase turns tight and there's no elevator, or it's too small for a mattress. Let us know which floor you're on and how wide the flight is: it's the detail that changes the job most, more than the number of boxes.
Dismantling to get through
A wardrobe that came in in pieces usually goes out in pieces. We dismantle it ourselves: note it in the request so the price includes it. Reassembly in the new home isn't taken for granted: if you need it, ask, and we'll answer in the quote.
A cheap move in Florence?
We count the pieces you really have, the floors of the two homes and the distance between the addresses, not on a whole house you don't have. No promise to be the cheapest in town: a written price, before you say yes.
When the dates don't line up
Handing back your room when the month ends and the new one is free later? Whatever doesn't have a place yet stays with us, by the square meter, and we bring it back to the new address when you're there. That stretch of storage has its own fee, separate from the move.
When there's a lot of furniture
If you're emptying a whole home, the moving page shows how we work across the city and its towns, and how our first Florentine job went.
