In which cities do you do small moves?
Small moves cover Milan and the Lombard provinces served from our hub, or Florence and its province.
Do you move a single piece of furniture?
Yes: a sofa, a wardrobe, a bed with its base. You can ask for a quote even for one piece.
Who dismantles and reassembles the furniture?
Our own crew dismantles, the same one that loads and transports. Reassembly is priced with a free quote too, for the furniture we carry.
What does the price of a mini move depend on?
On how many pieces there are, the floor, the elevator and the kilometers between the two addresses. It's on a free quote: you read the figure before you say yes.
Service and local details
When a move counts as small
It does when the load fits in one van and the job ends within a day. It happens with a student's room, a studio apartment, a couple leaving half a home behind. Or with a single piece, picked up second-hand in another neighborhood.
Who does what
You pack the small things, we load, dismantle the furniture, transport it and unload. You have one point of contact, Smoves, until the last piece is unloaded.
Dismantling to get through
A bed or wardrobe that came in in pieces leaves in pieces. Flag them in the form and the quote counts this too. Disassembly and reassembly come with a free quote, if our crew is the one moving the furniture.
What the price is based on
We count the pieces you really have, the floors of the two homes, whether there's an elevator and the distance between the addresses. No flat rate for a home you don't have: you read the figure in writing before you confirm.
When the dates don't line up
Leaving home at the end of the month and the new place is free later? Whatever has no spot yet stays with us, by the square meter, and we bring it back when you're ready. Storage has its own fee, separate from the move.
