Seregno, one train from Milan
Seregno is the Brianza of apartment blocks and trains: from the station the S9 and S11 lines run to Milan, and between them there is a train every quarter of an hour. Many people rent here and work in the city, in blocks with a narrow cellar and a garage below that has held everything except the car for years. In the center the shopping streets are pedestrian, and on Saturdays the market on via Fratelli Bandiera is one of the most important in Brianza. The rate is the same as in Milan; the pickup isn't, and you see it before you confirm.
