The answers you need
Does Como have one postal code, villages included?
Yes: 22100 applies across the town, from the walled town to Albate and Ponte Chiasso, and it also appears in the city hall address in via Vittorio Emanuele II. Brunate, at the top of the funicular, is a separate town with its own code, and we collect there too.
I work in Switzerland: do I have to be there for the pickup?
Not you personally, but someone must be: you or whoever you delegated, for example a relative, a roommate or a neighbor. Put their name and number in the booking notes.
Does pickup in Como cost more than in Milan?
Yes. There is no difference on the monthly rate: floor area is the only criterion. The pickup follows the kilometers, and to Como there are quite a few: the online quote turns them into a figure, starting from address and day, and shows it alongside the rate.
Do you also come to the lake and to Brianza?
Yes: the whole Como area, from Cernobbio to Cantù, plus the provinces of Lecco, Varese and Monza. If you move far away, even outside Italy, we send you your stored things on a quote.

Service and local details
Walled town, hairpins and lakefront: how we collect in Como
Como, between the lake and the hills
Como is squeezed between the lake and the mountains, and you can tell from its streets. Down by the water is the walled town, all of it a limited traffic zone, with narrow streets around the Duomo and piazza Volta. As soon as you leave the lake the road starts to climb: Garzola and Civiglio above the town, Monte Olimpino and Tavernola toward the border, Camerlata and Rebbio to the south, where the land opens out. Many people work in Switzerland and come back in the evening, and at the pickup someone they delegated can be there.

Inside the walls you need a city permit
The whole walled town is a limited traffic zone, along with piazza Volta, via Grassi and via Garibaldi. The city issues a temporary permit for moves online: if you live inside the walls, tell us when you book.
Garzola and Civiglio: bends, climbs, little room to stop
The roads climbing above the town are narrow and winding, and there is not always room for a van outside the door. In the notes, tell us where we can stop: a pullout, a parking lot, a neighbor's gate.
Houses on the slope: in from above or below
On the hills many houses have their entrance on one road and the yard on the road below, with steps in between. Tell us how many steps there are: the quote allows for them with a time estimate, visible before payment.
In summer the lakefront belongs to walkers
From June to September the streets near the water fill with tourists, and parking becomes a hunt. An early weekday morning works better than a Saturday afternoon.
