The answers you need
Does pickup in Pavia cost more than in Milan?
Yes, and the only reason is the road. The rate stays the same as in any other city, set by the square meters; the pickup instead depends on where you live and the day you choose. The online quote shows both before you book.
Does Pavia have just one postal code?
Yes, 27100 covers the whole city, from Borgo Ticino to Cravino. In the quote, still give street and number: if you live in a college, add its name in the notes.
I've already left on pickup day: can it still happen?
Yes, if someone you have delegated is there at pickup: a housemate, a fellow college student, a relative. Write who will be there in the quote notes. If nobody is there and you hadn't told us, the pickup is still due and we set the new date together.

In central Pavia, loading has its own hours
Pavia, under forty kilometers from Milan
Pavia is a university town for real: historic colleges like the Borromeo and the Ghislieri, EDiSU residences between the center and the Cravino campus, rented apartments shared between housemates. At the end of the year a lot of rooms empty in the same week, and the parents' car trunk, however methodically you pack it, stays a car trunk. Then there are the families in Città Giardino and Mirabello, and the low houses of Borgo Ticino, across the Ponte Coperto. It is under forty kilometers from Milan: the rate doesn't change, the pickup does, and you read it in the quote.

In the center a van loads in two windows only
In the limited traffic zone a van of up to 3.5 metric tons may stop to load from 7:00 to 10:30 and from 14:30 to 16:00. Never in the pedestrian area, and never on Strada Nuova, corso Cavour or corso Mazzini. If you live there, pick a morning slot.
Every college has its own doorman's lodge
Entry times, an inner courtyard, where a van may stop: they change from one college to the next. Ask at the lodge how it works first and put it in the quote notes.
Old palazzi, small elevators or none
In the palazzi of the historic center there often isn't an elevator, and when there is, it fits one and a half people. Give your floor: the stairs go into the quote as an estimate, before payment.
