The answers you need
Do you really collect in all 41 towns of the province?
Yes: the list on this page is the same one the quote uses to accept an address. If your town is on it, pickup is booked online just like in the city, with dates available and the full price on screen before you pay.
My town doesn't have a page: is that a problem?
No. Pickup is booked the same way in every town on the list, with or without a page of its own.
How much more does pickup cost in the province compared to Florence?
It depends on the address, because the pickup is calculated on your address and the date. The monthly rate doesn't change from town to town. You see rate and pickup separately in the online quote before you confirm.
Can you redeliver to a different town from where you picked up?
Yes: pickup in Sesto and redelivery in Scandicci, in Florence or in Empoli. Redelivery is requested from your account or by writing to us, at least 48 hours ahead, and is priced like the pickup, on the address you choose. It can also be partial: the rest stays in storage.

Is the warehouse in my town?
With the doorstep service you never go there, so it doesn't matter. The warehouse is indoors, with access control, CCTV and alarm; the van does the moving, you don't.

How storage works across the whole province
Self storage in the province of Florence: we come and pick up your things at home and keep them indoors, so you don't carry them anywhere. Pickup and redelivery cover all 41 towns of the province, from the Mugello to the Valdarno, from Scandicci to Empoli. The monthly rate depends on the size, not the town; pickup is paid once, at the start, and the quote calculates it on your address before you decide. The redelivery is paid for when you book it.
Sesto Fiorentino

Does the price change if I live outside Florence?
The monthly rate doesn't: it follows only the square meters you take up, identical in Empoli and in the Oltrarno. The pickup does, because it depends on your address: the quote calculates it from the address, date and how much there is to load, and shows you the figure before you confirm. For two boxes and one month, it may not be worth it: the quote shows you.
Is a storage unit nearby better, or doorstep storage?
It depends how often you need to get back to your things. A unit costs less if you open it every week and own a large car: you load it yourself, during its hours. Doorstep pickup wins when your things have to sit still for months and you don't want to load them twice, or when there's no unit in your town.
Will the quote recognize my town?
